Brian Deegan was on fire at Reno, especially in the Pro Lite class where he swept the field both near. Here, Deegan digs in en route to his Round 11 victory.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series returned to action this past weekend at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada. Trying to beat the summertime heat, Lucas Oil again held the race under the lights over the weekend for Round 11 and 12. With only a few rounds remaining, including stops at Las Vegas and Lake Elsinore, the championship titles are getting intense, and some of the sport’s biggest names really put it on the line in Nevada.

This season, it’s news when Kyle LeDuc doesn’t win the Pro 4 race after dominating the class with 9 of 10 wins heading into Reno. Unfortuantely not only did LeDuc not win a race, he missed the Pro 4 podium both nights.

A familiar site: The Pro 2 podium featured the same cast of characters in Reno (Rob MacCachren, Brian Deegan, Bryce Menzies) though their positions swapped each round).

Brian Deegan came away with the most impressive weekend, as he swept the Pro Lite class, won Pro 2 at Round 11 and earned third in Pro 2 at Round 12. Rob MacCachren also had a stellar weekend, earning four podiums in Pro 2 and Pro 4 with a victory in Pro 4 at Round 11.

Doug Fortin go into the mix in Pro 4 as well with a win at Round 12, while Bryce Menzies followed up his third-place finish in Pro 2 at Round 11 with a victory in the class at Round 12.

In the Pro Buggy class, Eric Fitch followed up his first victory in the class at Round 10 by sweeping the field in Nevada. That makes three straight wins for Fitch in the class.

Bryce Menzies put together a solid race to earn the win in Pro 2 at Round 12.

LOORRS will return to action September 19-20 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with the final weekend of racing taking place in Lake Elsinore, California, October 24-25.
