Although we were expecting a full redesign for the Ram Heavy-Duty truck line for 2018, there are have been recent reports to suggest this may have been delayed. It’s possible then that this recent Power Wagon captured by photographers is a sign that FCA is readying a facelift in an effort to keep the HD as fresh as possible until an all-new model is unveiled down the road.

The prototype test truck captured here shows a Ram Power Wagon testings its revised front-end on public roads, albeit still covered to some degree. The test truck also has a camouflaged dashboard, suggesting that interior upgrades will applied to the freshened HD, perhaps easing the sting of the all-new HD’s delayed-arrival to the market.

A 2018 Ram lineup wouldn’t be announced until later this year, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled in the meantime for other prototype trucks testing on public roads.
