Bilstein 6112 Series Shocks
Bilstein recently introduced its new 6112 Series coilover front shock, which the company says is designed for the serious off-roader who demands consistent performance. Utilizing a large 60mm body for increased oil capacity to aid in cooling and long-term durability, the 6112 is fitted with a 60mm digressive piston for increased damping control. The monotube shock is designed to provide fade-free performance in demanding off-road terrain, though Bilstein it is still tuned for comfortable on-road handling. An adjustable spring seat allows for an adjustment of lift up to 2.5 inches, depending upon the application. Bilstein’s new 6112 Series is a direct-fit application available for the Toyota Tacoma (2005-15), Tundra (07-15), 4Runner (03-15) and FJ Cruiser (07-14), and also the Chevrolet Silverado (2007-15) and GMC Sierra (2007-15). Each kit includes two 60mm shock absorbers, two billet hard-anodized spring seats and two springs. Bilstein recommends its 5160 Series for rear applications. No pricing is available at this time.
